Services

I come from a strengths-based, positive perspective, providing one-to-one therapy to address the following issues:

Emotions: anger/rage; sadness; fears; out-of-control emotions; lack of emotional expression; family of origin problems.

Mental Health: depression; anxiety; psychosis; personality disorders; addictions.

Major Life Issues: loss; grief; separation/ divorce; loss of job; loss of role; meaninglessness. I also work with victims/survivors of crime and have written a manual for victim services providers titled: Working with victims of crime: A manual applying research to clinical practice, published by Justice Canada.

Workplace Issues: burnout; bullying; office politics; emotional intelligence; changing roles; leadership development; supervisory/coaching skills development.

Forensic Issues: I am experienced in correctional psychology (institutional and community) and am very comfortable working with people in conflict with the law who have the problems listed above.

Fees: My fee is $175.00/hour, which is set according to recommended rate of the British Columbia Psychological Association.
